01 ram 3500 heated seat
It would seem so, yes.
checked the relay, it was good. So i decided to call my uncle(i bought the truck off of) so see if he had any ideas, he said he had the foam in the seat replaced and it hasent worked since. So i think i will take the seat apart an see if i could find anything.
Most likely they broke the continuity of the heating element when the seat foam was replaced. Unfortunately the heating element will not work at all if this is the case. You can check for resistance at the connector under the seat before pulling it.
Ill see if I can find something for you. I already posted what I found above.
Have a look at the pinouts on the connector above - I would think that should be pretty much what you need.
FYI, there are aftermarket seat heaters if you cant fix this....the brand is Rostra.

Sorry I have not had any problems with mine so I dont know.
Being that when you plug it into the other side and it still works - there shouldnt be anything wrong with the heat pad itself. i would assume there is something wrong with the wiring between the seat and the fuse or between the fuse and the switch.
