Default Been let down

Have a 01 cummins coming home from town today and had the cruise set at 65. All of the sudden the speed drop, when I pressed in on the clutch the motor cut off and will not start back up. At the bleader (right before the fuel pump) I get a little bit of fuel with the lift pump running. But once the lift pump shuts off no more fuel. Has my fuel pump gone out and where can I get a new one a after market one? Because I do have a chip and I do want to put more on it in the mouths to come. Can some one out there point me in the right place need to get back rolling asap.

First thing: get the codes. Next, get gauges, Next, get a lift pump. If after that get a VP44.
