this truck had a hole rubbed in a fuel line by the tank.. they just assumed the pump was out so a friend of mine got it. it sat for 6-8 months before he got it.. it leaks oil from the vacume pump, and the trans was 3 1/2 quarts low of fluid (auto) the fluid didn't smell burnt, but is discolored. My concerns are 1 the fuel system the line is now spliced with a piece of rubber hose. 2 the trans. 3 the oil leaking. its rough.. dents here and there. interior isn't to bad, has the notorious cracked dash. is it worth 4,750? if so what are the chances the trans and inj pump are hurt? and how hard is it to fix the vacume pump seal that is leakin motor oil? Thanks!

 

i would give them 4000 for it. how many miles are on it. they sell a kit to fix the vacume pump on genos garage

 

212000 miles. He won't budge below 4750 he started at 6500 so i got him down quite a bit..

 

with that many miles and if the trans is stock your going to need a new trans i would buy it and make i in to a pulling truck

 

ya the kicker is tho.. I need a vehicle for my wife..
