Auto Transmission problem
Ok...I have an NADP Transmission. Had it since April 2005.
Pulling the trailer, it just started locking/unlocking all of a sudden in 3rd and 4th (I think). It is like a big surge. It also does it without the trailer.
I have an adrenaline and shut it off; no difference.
I did a trans service last month.
What do you guys think?
Thanks!

Lock and unlock is torque converter cycling.
Clean the battery terminals and cables and that will probably help for a while. Get a DTT noise filter and that should fix it up.

Solution
Real easy solution to this one, worked for me anyways. Suncoast has it on their website. Find the wire that goes to the apps, black with a yellow trace, cut it and extend with solder and heat shrink (both ecu and apps side of wire) to the battery ground. The tc lock unlock is being caused by electrical noise being picked up in the ground wire confusing the ecu. This will more than likely fix your problem.

When I adjusted the APPS, it quit showing the signs of my problem above.
Battery terminals are clean.
I haven't adjusted the Bands at all; NADP said that I don't need to.

It doesn't drop gears; it just unlocked/ locked.
