wiring problem

Default wiring problem

my radio and dome light quit working replaced the fuses still does not work when i open the door you can hear the dome relay click any ideas

did they both go out right at the same time? im gonna guess so since u started the thread, my guess is that there is a short somewhere, but should be other stuff messin up also for a short id think. is there any other stuff not working right?

no the radio went first then 2 days later the dome light went yea thats what i was thinkn that there mite be a short somewhere thats the only things that dont work

being at different times, could just be a freak coincidence that they went out so close together, but since there was two days between them, its very possible. fist thing id do is try replacing the bulb for the dome light. good luck

im having the exact same problem with mine, minus the radio, my dome, map and cargo lights wont come on, ive replaced the switch, the fuses and such and still nothing. If i figure mine out, ill let you know what it is

ok that would be good i dont want to have to go to the stealership an pay a whole lot for a simple fix

my 01 did the exact same thing and it was the 10amp fuse labeled I.O.D on my truck its in possition #12 it had a plastic piece around it so its alittle hard to get out. my radio dome overhead computer and radio all went out hopefully this helps.

uh oh.....Sounds like Body Control Module Time if the I O D Fuse dosent fix it and nothing else is loose or no fuses out!

same thing JUST happened to mine about 2 weeks ago. thought it was from my hood flying off but wasnt sure... this sounds exactly whats happened to mine. overhead stopped working, inside lights dont work and radio doesnt click on..... and its maddening me! ill look into the #12 spot IOD thingy majig .... and body control what?!

ok just went outside to check it. WORKED. replaced the 10 fuse in the #12 spot there and fixed it all. radio, dome lights, overhead.... thank you for that little piece of info!

SON OF A BI*** just checked mine and sure enough its was the IOD fuse. I never knew what that was for so i didnt check it
