ok guys im a 12v guy lookin at getting another truck. its a 2000 dodge 3500 5spd. and i just need to know the pros and cons of getting a 24v. what imput yall have. what will need to be fixed, and whats great about them? thanks

 

the so are better than the ho the only thing that you would need to buy would be a airdog 150 as the stock lift pumps suck on the old 24v. other than that they a good trucks. oh and the front end are bed to. but you will like the truck if you get. and other good thing it a 5speed the auto are junk.

 

yeah, it looks to be a real nice and clean truck, the only thing is i havent got to see how many miles on it yet or the price.

 

I would have it scanned for codes, and check fuel pressure for sure. Many people unload these things instead of fixing a faulty injector pump.

 

I love mine. I would definatly upgrade the lift pump and track bar. Lift pump asap.

 

yeah that be the first thing i get looked at. then its gonna be a pulling truck for my trailers. anyone have a suggestion for a good chip?

my 24v I had loved the adrenaline with pulse and the kid would be eating my smoke when racing his 04 with edge on it

sounds like a good plan the juice works great and gives you all the gauges. As stated make sure you upgrade the lift pump or your spending 1600 on a injection pump.
