Covered in grease, need quick answer Pleeeeeeease...
I just put new upper and lower ball joint on and now the damn brake caliper won't go back on. The brake must have been pushed while it was off. So what is an easy way to get the caliper to open back up so I can get it???
I use a big c-clamp to push the caliper back in. I don't know what else you could use if you don't have a c-clamp big enough. If you just did ball joints I imagine you have something large enough to have pressed them in with.
I got it. Used the ball joint puller. Still works bent!

Me... I would just use a large screwdriver and light pry the pistons back.
Or...
The C-clamp idea is really common.
As for pushing the fluid back to the MC I can't see the harm in it being the fluid naturally returns to the MC after you release the brake pedal every time.
