Default Too many miles?

I'm looking into getting this 2000 3500 5.9 auto dually. Has been extremely well maintained. I'm going to use this for hauling. All stock other than K & N intake, 5" stainless steel exhaust and rear air bags. He did say his mechanic bumped the HP up to 290 with a computer.
Ad says nothing about mileage. So I asked, the response was 'it's got a lot of miles but still a very strong truck, call for more info.
So I spoke with the man. Over the past two yrs. he has replaced a good bit. More recently a tranny with high velocity torque converter, 32k on it now. A lift pump, new rear end axle bearings, new brakes, hubs, calipers, rotors on front and new drums and hardware on rear. Also new tires, straight tread on front and on road, off road on rear, all ten ply.
He changes his oil every 3 to 5k along with fuel filter. He has been using the truck for hauling rvs. His is the third owner and had the truck for 4 yrs.
Now... he says the mileage is..... 606,000.........
Please help.. How many miles are 'too' many miles??
Lg

How would the mechanic bump the horsepower?? I can see adding a programer or something. I have never heard about dealers being abel to increase the power on the 5.9 threw their computer.

If the truck runs good, it runs good but 9K is way to much.

No man, he's selling it for 7000, said that kbb was 9500. But still, what about the high miles?

You can find lower mile trucks for that price right now. It's 2 wheel drive right? I would wait and find something in the 250k range for the same price.
