crank case vent canister removal

Default crank case vent canister removal

can you clean these or are they sealed and must be replaced? Any big deal to remove to service if they can be cleaned?? I have 02 3500 5.9 24 valve dually. Thanks in advance for all input. Doc

yeah clean them out, its a 5/16 or 3/8 nut undo pull down spray out install, i do mine every service im thinking of moving mine to the frame so the front cover dont get covered with oil

I took mine off and extended it to about 4" below the sway bay with a zip tie to the bar to hold it, no more mess on the front of the engine.

Removed mine and ran a hose to the back side of the motor along the frame. No drips at all. No clogged radiator anymore.
