If your gonna run both pumps it has to plumbed like it shows in the thread below. If not the stock LP is gonna slow the new one down and end up killin it over time. It creates resistance in the line and when it stops all together that resistance get's even worse. Nothin wrong with dual pumps as long as they are installed right, it's a good system but if they are wrong your gonna make your problem even worse.

And I thought I was the only Diesel Head that shopped at Speedway. Been buying from them for a long time, great people. Best selection of dirt track parts anywhere.

I like Glacier Diesel myself. Richard built me a couple custom pieces for my fuel system.

Earl's 991944 - Earl's Big Bore Carb & Fuel Injection Fittings

That fitting goes from the 12X1.5 thread of the injection pump to -6AN which is much easier to work with. Also fits the fittings on the fuel filter, but if you have a later filter housing, you can drill them and tap to 3/8" pipe which is even easier to work with.

It depends on what you are trying to do.

Our filter to injection pump kits eliminate the banjos. We use JIC adapters in the pump and at the filter housing. Then these parts are connected through the use of a pushlok fitting. These kits also include a "Fuel Pressure 90*" And is capped but ready to accept any schrader or 1/8" NPT set up.

Same thing for the inlet side of the filter housing back to the DrawStraw if you go that route.

I installed a Filter to injection pump hose kit today after installing a FASS DDRP on one of relocation brackets. Before the hosekit, he had 17 psi. After, he had 19 psi. This is at idle.

Hope that helps.

I just drilled and tapped my fuel filter housing to 14mm in and out. Mucho more flow~

Send a PM to Opie, he's a member on here and the developer of the belt drive pumps. Wouldn't trade mine for anything else out there and I've tried most all of em.

As for the John Deere filter. I tried that whole process to. I used a big rig Cummins spin on fuel filter and got rid of the stock housing. Took a year or two but I went back to the stocker. You lose your fuel heater and water in fuel sensor without that stock housing being used.
