Default loose connector in engine bay

Does anyone know if this is supposed to be plugged in somewhere?

Don't remember exact off the top of my head but isn't that the Water in Fuel (WIF) Sensor that should plug into the fuel canister. If it's not it's the fuel heater that also plugs in right in there.

yeah the water in fuel plugs in right in the bottom of the canister, if it aint plugged in under there chances are that is what that is for
