Well the 2001 dodge keeps cutting out and the other day it died while driving it and wouldnt start back up. We put 150hp Edge injectors and after we did that mod it started cutting out a bit so we put a Airdog 150 in it so it would have the fuel supply. It ran fine for awhile but now it starts some of the time and will run long enough to get me to work but it still dies when i drive it sometimes.

We were thinking it could be injection pump since the lift pump is brand new, anyone else have some suggestions?

put a quart of tranny fluid in it and go set a new injection pump.

Need to fill out your signature so we know the details of what you have. Be sure to have the codes read, then cleared and a few days later read again to see what comes back. This will tell you most of what you need to know. The rest will come from fuel pressure readings. What pressures is it holding at idle and WOT.

What Bubba said.
I'd say it's a VP,but better check the codes at least.

Check for codes via Key cycle to get any obvious codes from the display and post them. Cam sensors will also do the exact same thing you discribe.

Sounds Exactly like what my 01' is doing. I just put 100 HP injectors and superchip in it and it will cut out bad at high RPM with chip on high setting if I take programmer out or put on lower setting it will be fine. I have 14 psi of fuel pressure at injector pump at WOT, not showing any codes, drilled out all my banjo bolt fittings 3 sizes bigger than what they were. I'm still having the same trouble. I'm going to try a new programmer when I get the chance to, I also was wondering if my VP isn't just ready to bite the dust. Let me know if you figure anything out on yours.

It was my friends truck but we saw a little bit of plastic in the filter so we took apart the fuel line from the lift pump to tank cut it open and found plastic clogging the line. Apperently when he drilled his hole for his airdog system he wasnt very careful about the plastic falling into it. Its running much better now fuel system was just a lil clogged.
