Default Silencer Ring????
I see that some guys are talking about pulling the silencer ring out of the inlet of the turbo, what does that actually do for performance?

Doesn't really do anything for performance, just make the turbo whistle more.
Add a BHAF and it increases the whistle.

Thanks for the info, not up to speed on some of the lingo around here yet, still a newmie in a roundabout way. Do have a BHAF already, an S&B.

With that standard tranny and pull the silencer ring it will sound cool !!!

I think I will give it a try, as long as it doesn't get too annoying pulling the toy hauler to the dunes.

You will enjoy it. It's not like you cant talk over it, but it is noticeable.

I see in your signatue that you have a ceramic clutch. Does it grab really harsh?

No cause it is a Dual Disk. But the Single Disk are pretty grabby.
