Default general tune up

i want to get a general tune up on my truck but at the same time i am going to upgraade it. (as some of you know by now on the aftermarket forum military man needs help) It seems like i am not getting the gas mileage i should be and i dont feel the power in my truck. didnt really notice it til i drove my uncles and fathers trucks. Theya re newer trucks but my old 81 toyota 4x4 had more get up than my diesel. What would be the best things to run through it when and do when i go home? i have about 190,000 miles on it automatic tranny. Not much maintanence records after 90,000 so im not sure what been dont to it the last 100,000 The first 90k tho it was pretty well taken care of. anywyas enough rambling on my part what should i do that would be best for my trucks life?

Thank you much

danny

change the oil, the diffs, service the tranny, change the fuel filter, make sure have fuel pressure, run some 2 stroke oil, air up your tires to proper specs. Then upgrade the truck like you wanted, a fuel system would be my first upgrade

if you don't have fuel to power the chip then your pump will not be happy and you will have to add that to your upgrades. If your looking for a good intake a buddy is selling a afe stage 3 for 225 shipped it's used but in near new shape he is giving his truck back to the bank.

Fuel system upgrade is a must Then you can throw in a fueling box, injectors, intake, exhaust... but you will also have to address the transmission. I took my first stock tranny out with just some 275's and a edge ez pulling a trailer

Ok ya im not planning on towing or pulling anything. Maybe an elk this upcoming season is gonna be the heaviest thing in my truck! So go with getting the fuel pump, then the injectors done first?

I suggest an Edge EZ as well. I did the EZ first, then the fuel system. However, I had a FP guage on from the beginning.
