the lope from what i understand comes from retarded timing, maybe the crossover tubes are sucking air...?

 

how do i check the cross over tubes?

 

A lot of people put oversize crossover tubes to make it lope.

 

how do i make sure im not sucking air cause some times it drops to lower rpm after heavy fueling

 

what it is doing is loading up with fuel at an idle. there nothing wrong with it just when you start putting bigger injectors and bigger lines they'll lope like that. get on youtube and type in loping diesel and there will be some 24 valves loping after line and injecters swap
