blower motor resistor

blower motor resistor
Has anyone had any problems with these resistors. Last week mine went out. i replaced it, and it lasted a few days, i figured it was a faulty resistor took it back and they replaced it. Now today this one just went out. Any one know something i dont know about these????

Need to replace your fan along with a new resistor. I fought this same fight a few years back.
By the way. Where did you get your resistor from. The parts stores didn't carry it according to their computers but when we looked through the parts books we found it. It is the same as I think one of the Toyota's. It was less then half the price the Dodge dealer wanted, just had to do some diggin.
