Make sure that you have plenty of anti-sieze there, when you get it out clean up the hub really good and then coat it with anti-sieze on both the hub and the bearing. We had to use a 15# slide hammer on TJ's (getblown5.9) wheel bearings a while back and one came out after about an hour of working on it, the other seperated the bearing, not fun to get the other part of the bearing out.

I'm thinking about making a "tool" (AKA big ass slide hammer) for bearing removal.

After 8 years of road salt we had to pound my rotors off with 4 pound hammers.

Its not too too bad - one thing, make sure you dont pull the axle shaft out too far, or you will knick the seal. Small knick is ok, it will likely seal. But a big one isnt good. Dont ask me how I know this. Also, the hub/rotor come off as one piece. Then seperate it after its off the truck.
What are ya complaining about???, its probably tshirt weather down there. |
