Default Engine barely runs and im along way from HOME!

Truck ran fine. stopped and fueled up. Immediately it bogs and misses at 50 mph. wont go any faster. Sometimes it will get a dead pedal. Sometimes it will only go 30 or 40 and misses every second feels like im driving on a rail road. Steep grades bring it down to litterly 5 mph. And it blows blue smoke.

Codes

1682
0500
1694
1693
1687

And i bought a scan too and it says a 0216 and one about the turbo boost i forget the rest.

I barely made it to Butte mt. and got a hotel and goin to the dealer in the morning. Anyone got any ideas?

Still need to monitor Fuel Pressure , And you dont have to run diesel in your cab , use an isolater if your mechanical or just use an electronic gauge , Your Trucks going in Limp mode so you can make it home ,

P0216 Is the VP44 Death Code

You didn't get bad fuel did you? Smell the filler neck and see if they gave you a mix of diesel and gas. If so i hope you saved your receipt. I keep all my fuel receipts in the glove box.

Just because of the timing I would say bad fuel. I would also very strongly suggest that you go smell some of that fuel, sounds to me like you got a tank full of gas instead of diesel.

Station you stopped at probably had gas dumped in the diesel tank. Some do that.

P0500=Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction
P1682=Charging System Voltage Too Low
P1687=No Cluster Bus Message
Other 2 besides the P0216 and possibly an turbo charger under boost condition code are companion codes. The turbo charger under boost code is probably why it went into limp mode.

If it doesn't smell like gas, probably gelled up. If by chance you have an extra fuel filter, change it in the morning before heading off the dealer and see if conditions improve.
