Default Is This A Good Deal On An Engine

im looking at this engine online. they want $3,500 for it. with how it is now, how much would need to be changed besides the exhaust manifold.

Factory Warranty Repaired Cummins 5.9L ISB TurboDiesel Engine 1998-2002.

Originally set up for RV application (see full option spec below) 275HP

CPL# 2451
NO CORE CHARGE!

This engine was going to be used in a racing project for which funding never materialised. The engine has been sitting on its original pallet in a climate controlled warehouse for the last couple of years. It is in great condition

Make sure it's not a 53 block. Price seems right to me if it's an honest deal but I haven't priced any ready to motors in a few years. I know new this motor runs just a little shy of 6G but that a complete long block with turbo.

Doesn't look to be a 53 block...you'd be able to see it in those pictures.

thats not bad, that what the local junkyards around here charge for those 24valves so all in all, its right on the money.
