Default Codes 336 And 237

Last week my check engine light came on in my truck and i got out the scanner and checked to see what become of them.

It was.

P0337 Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor Voltage Too Low

P0236 Turbo/Super Charger Boost Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance

And then i parked the truck until i could get a chance to check it out and then my check engine light went off but the truck feels down on power still and doesn't smoke like it should.

Does the 337 code mean a bad CKP all together? And what about the 236? I have a boost fooler but i have been running it for quite sometime now without a issue.

What should i do first? I don't want to drop a bunch of money and start replacing things right off the bat.

when the truck is idling does it surge or sputter, my ckp sensor went bad and it would do that, it would also loose power getting on the highway and the tach would stop working, but anyhow you probably do need a new sensor. you have to take your starter off to get it out though. the turbo code, check that your connections on the boost fooler i would just clear it and see if it comes back.

Yeah my check engine light came back on right after that post. I will put a new sensor on and try bypassing the boost fooler for now. But no other problems idles fine and runs fine until you get into it and just down on power like it is in limp mode.

give it a little while for it to clear, it could take a few ignition cycles to clear it self

I got the CKP changed out yesterday and unhooked the boost fooler also. I think took and hooked up the matco scan tool. The codes were still present and i went in a erased them. Took it for a drive and then come back. Hooked it up again and codes are cleared.

The truck still feels down on power and not up to par. It is not smoking like it should be and i change my fuel and water separator filters every other oil change. I know with removing the boost fooler it may make some difference. But when changing my power settings on the box it doesn't seem to make a difference.
