Where is best place to drill for egt gauge on manifold ?

 

toward the middle BUT NOT in the middle, there is a cast webbing there! drill on one side or the other center of #3 or 4 ex.port. also, just as important drill straight not at an angle. start with a smaller bit work your way up, go Slow, especially just before you drill through. good luck!

 

I put mine in the same area. It reads temps off the back 3 cylinders.
