Just got the oil in and filled it up there's a noticeable difference in shifting feels better and smoother now (run around the block) I just need to service my rear diff what fluid could I use on it its a limited slip and from what I can tell I don't think it's ever been serviced I was amazed when I checked it that it had about 2/8 of diff fluid in it yikes!!

Brand doesn't really matter just get a 75W95 or a 75W140 (if you tow heavy a lot). And make sure it has an additive for LSD. When I changed mine the first time it felt like I had an increase in torque. When you go to put it back on just use some permitex or how ever you spell it. And get all the old gasket off the housing and diff cover.

I got valvoline synpower 75w-140 since they were all out of 75 95 says limited slip and also some mega black gasket stuff it's like the permatex pretty I think it is. Only able to get three quarts since that's all they had left in the mean time I'll just buff the cover down and repaint I pull a cattle trailer around unloaded just scrap steel in it sometimes would this oil affect much for regular driving ?

Pros= better filtration and filter life, ease of install
Cons = none.
I don't run with a heat shield and still don't have intake temp problems. It plugs right into the stock intake tube. You can get one for roughly $60 or less. If you like spool sound it will make it louder but it is still not over bearing. There is no hp gain to be had with any filter whether it be BHAF or high dollar aftermarket intake. The stock box can support up to 500 hp IIRC. But it does take a slight breathing load off the engine in my opinion.
