having a problem with high idle, not throwing any codes, engine light isn't coming on, but after about 5 mins of driving down the highway at 75 mph it will idle anywhere between 900-1300 rpm, it wont jump, it will still let me drive but the rpm wont go below what they are stuck at......
2002 dodge 2500 has edge juice with attitude, the app will be around 6-7% when I'm off the pedal and idling.

 

You need to reset the apps. That's why your truck idles higher.

 

I tried that once unless I didn't do it correct and it didn't fix it,
do you disconnect both batteries and turn the key to run (not start) and let it sit for a few hours and turn key off, hook batteries back up and turn key back to run and press the peddle slowly all the way down and slowly let it come back up?

 

That's how you do it. Your apps may be bad.

 

i replaced it once before when my other one went out, it went into limp mode , i replaced it with one my buddy had off one of his trucks, i just wasn't sure if it was the apps of if there was something deeper than that
