Default Urgent help please!!!!!!!! Profoundly puzzled

Hello, I have a 2002 Cummins that has been running fine until last Thursday, as I was driving up the interstate at cruise speed (75mph) I heard her start missing and then felt a loss in power. Also it was pouring out white smoke. As I got to the shoulder it died and hasn't started since just spins. I replaced the crank sensor to no avail checked fuel system it's good there to the vp44 but I have nothing from the injection pump to my injectors. At the pump or even cracking injector lines no diesel. I did the key trick and it does not show any codes at all. I removed my edge ez disconnected both batteries for a couple hours and reconnected them leaving the edge out... still nothing. Could my VP still be bad???? The trucks still pretty stock other than the edge, an intake, and exhaust. The lift pump, tps, and injectors have all been replaced within the year and the fuel tanks comp!etely full. Thanks in advance for any help.

I think your VP pooped the bed. This may help.

VP44 Diagnostic

Try this it might get you where you need to be.

Thank you, I kinda suspected that's what it was just don't wanna through a pump at it and that not be the problem.

Good question.. How does my vp44 not die! it's lift pump is inoperable. Smack it with a breaker bar handle and it make a sick growl and it primes the vp a little bit. The feller i got it from said he never hurd it fire up on the forth rev before.. His DD for like 3 years... So far i got like 1500 miles on it since sunday.. Lift pump on the way.. Im just blown away i can't be the only one with a seemingly bulletproof vp am i

Im not pushing luck.. I'm actually waiting for it to crap out.. I have a dead hole 12 valve im gonna use for a p swap! Got the pop tester to do my own shiming and just about engough dough for the lines. But im gonna see how much **** and abuse this thing will endure first!
So far i have nothing bad to say about the vp.. I hear alot of bad! But this thing runs like a champ and it flashes up every time so when the new lift pump shows up i think it will last long time.
