Hello everyone! Just last week I had the vp44 go bad and had it replace now if it sits for a 8hrs or so it will crank and crank before starting. when it does sit there's no leaking fuel and I've checked the fuel system over but no luck on finding a leak any ideas. Thanks!

 

Did you check the return banjo bolt on the back of the head?

 

Yup check the return banjo bolt and it tight

 

If there are no leaks visible there may be air getting into the system pre-lift pump.

By "pre lift pump" do you mean the lift pump before the injector pump? I have had the same issue and just lost another injector pump.

 

Pre lift pump means fuel tank to pump. What is your fuel
Pressure at?
