What does the fuel pressure drop to during acceleration or at highway speed. 10 is pretty low at idle.

I've checked all the plug ins on the passenger side firewall. I've also investigated as much wiring as I can. I guess I need to do a more thorough investigation of the wiring. There is either a short somewhere or a bad control module. Does the tps communicate with the speed sensor?

To my knowledge the Powertrain Control Module takes logic signals from all the various sensors: crank, speed, timming, fuel,TPS, and processes them if it sees an open circuit or out of range signal usually only milivolts it throws a code or a warning light.
I believe that the ABS controller works the same only just for the ABS. It may all feed to the PCM for setting the lights off in the cab. just not sure without digging in a schematic.
