I've got an 01 auto Cummins. I believe it has a hy35 turbo. It recently quit spooling boost. There's a lot of shaft play. And when you give it fuel, I hear a loud grinding sound. Just wondering if its worth rebuilding the hy35 or getting an hx35.. Truck has edge juice with attitude, injector nozzles. Airdog 150 and exhaust

 

go with an hx35 because its not worth rebuilding your old turbo. one can be had for a couple hundred bucks
