Truck doesnt want to start
Okay so recently my truck has started being a pain in my rear to start.
Some times it cranks just slow enough for it not to fire up and other times it will turn over once and that's all the juice shes got. Both batteries are interstates and less than a year old. Alternator is working fine, 14.3v @ idle. I don't leave my lights on or anything ridiculous like that. When I drive it it runs for at least 10 minutes so the heating grids aren't going nuts still and the batteries get a decent charge. Also after driving 15 minutes it can sit for 5 hours and start fine. I did find one issue when my RF turn signal. The bulb still worked but one of the 4 wire that connect to the plug looked like it had been melted but was still barely intact. It looks like it had shorted out might have still been draining my battery for all I know. It is pretty cold here (30s). I don't plug it in because it is more than 200ft to the nearest outlet in my second story apartment and in my **** neighborhood someone would always be unplugging it and taking my damn cords haha. until recently it would turn over for not even a second and fire right up after the heating grids cycled, even as low as 5*. Sorry for the short book but i read a lot of posts with very little info haha. Oh and i still haven't put a load tester to the batteries yet (next step). So yeah im kind of sick of having to jump it regularly but have seen people in much colder places just cranking the hell out of their trucks that haven't been plugged in. I believe i have a small parasitic draw some where but i would like any other thoughts or ideas. Thanks guys!

I have a draw problem with my truck, but it takes almost a week before it's an issue.
10 minutes isn't really a lot of time to fully recharge the batteries either, but more information would be helpful. It sounds like it's not really going dead, it just won't turn over?
How long does it have to sit to not start, you said it's fine within 5 hours.

I'm thinking new terminals is my next step. 1.cheap 2.alternator seems fine... also come to terms with the fact that i might have junk batteries.
Cranked just too slow to start so I hooked it up to the GFs car and after maybe 5 seconds i gave it a try just for ****$ and giggles and it cranked like crazy and fired right up. This makes me think my batteries just dont have enough to get'r goin on a cold morning. I have one Interstate megatron and one interstate blim (money is tight plz don't hate it was $65) and its just a regular intestate battery. I think it is the culprit. My dad already gave me the "you get what you pay for"

Too late to make a funny but going off your title I was going to tell you to show it some respect and by it something shiny to get back in the good graces....But the batteries seem to be a better idea, carry on.
