Surging, High Voltage, High Idle
Hi I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins 5.9 Turbo Diesel With Edge. She Just Fell on her Face..LOL
She went into "limp Mode" Check Engine Light came on.Has "run away" Idle Now with 7 Codes: Change out the TSP Sensor.:
P0238-Map Sensor Voltage too high
P0118-Engin coolant temp sensor voltage too high
P0563-Charging system voltage too high
P0123-Accelotor Peddle position sensor voltage too high
P0121-Accelotor Peddle position sensor volts do not agree with validation sensor
P0606-ECM Failure
P01475-Auxluary Voltage too high
P037-Map Sensor too high
I'm at my whits end. Any and all help would be appreciated.
Thank You

Thanks,
Will Idle for 1 minute. then it starts surging.i have to check the charging system in the morning. Battery's are both good, no corrosion I checked 5 or 6 grounds loosed & tightened.
Still Have to check out the relays & Charging system.
Thanks For your Help it is greatly appreciated .

Looking at the manual, the codes showing sensor issues do not have many shared grounds. Most are individual grounds to the ECU itself. It tricky to get to to, but have a look at the connectors to the ECU. Drivers side of the engine, mounted to the side of the block. I'm almost certain it is a ground problem, if not an ECU problem.
