Coolant
Hey guys it's starting to get cold here so lastnight I went and checked my coolant and in the resevoir it was a little below the cold line like maybe half an inch is it normal to lose a little bit of coolant, also the truck hadn't been ran since earlier that morning probably 8 hours so in 18 degree weather so I'm gonna top it off today haven't notcide any leaks but will be sure tonight it's not much coolant but I wanted your guys opinion hoping it's not a head gasket leak
Correct, both lines, Add and Full, are for coolant being cold.
Once all the air is out of the system, and the radiator is full, the coolant in the bottle should stay at the same level when cold.

I also let the truck run while I was on lunch for about an hour and saw no leaks around the head just an old oil leak on the passenger rear of the head stuck my finger in it and it was old oil for sure had no scent of anyifreeze and no signs of a leak of anything the head looks like it's got new plugs and things on it

cold?
