Default Which turbo to use

Hey guys got a '00 24 valve got s&b cold air intake, pusher intake, straight pipe exhaust, DTT assasin mechanical lift pump with drawstraw, DAP 160 hp injectors (7x.011) I believe, valair single disc clutch, edge comp box. I recently swapped turbos with my brothers 12 valve sitting in the back of our shop. It's an hx40 and I like the higher boost and better flow it provides but holy sh** it's laggy and hard to tow with. So my ? Is would a hx35/40 hybrid work for me or do I need something like a bd super b?

with the setup you have i would recommend a 62/71

the 71 wheel spools very fast!
STAINLESS DIESEL 62/71/12
Any questions about that turbo or any others you can call Jamie and talk with him

The hx40 comes in a 16, 18 and 21cm turbine housing. It flows a little less than a 62mm.

A 63/68/14 would be great bang for the buck. Under $1000 and supports 550HP.
