My 02 cummins brought up the codes P1690 & P1693
it starts fine, idles fine, no smoke, but poor acceleration. it seems to lack power on the top end like after 1300 rpms.

gonna measure AC Noise to the ecm tomorrow at work and go from there. Just curious of any input. Thank you

 

P1690 is cam position sensor code. Change out the cam position sensor.

 

changed out the cam position sensor and no difference.
Drove 30 miles then out of no where the light came on and power was derated but no smoke at all.
