Headlight upgrade

Headlight upgrade
So I picked up a black 02 single cab 4x4 dually cummins that is great mechanically but like all 94-02 dodges the headlights suck. I want bright as possible. I'd prefer black projectors but I don't just want looks. My lights on bright are dimmer than my dads 2014 explorer's projectors on dim. So what are a good set of 1 piece lights that fit right and actually light up bright like a newer car? I'm not rich but I'll gladly pay for quality

99% of pre-made aftermarket projectors for rams suck.
You can get some made for it but they aren't cheap. ballpark of $500 for a pair of HID projectors retrofitted into clear ram headlight housings.
by far the brightest and most precise light output you will get...
or the halogen alternative = sport conversion.
sport headlights are brighter and have better beam patterns.

I had a set of Anzo lights on my 2001, and they were way, WAY better than the factory headlight assemblies. With some upgraded bulbs, like NightHawks, they were more than enough for city and busy hiway driving.
ANZO USA | DODGE RAM 1500 94-01 / RAM 2500/3500 94-02 CRYSTAL HEADLIGHTS BLACK w/ CORNER LIGHT 2PC - Headlights
Blacked out, kinda. You get more than what you pay for with these.

2nd Gen Dodge Ram HID Projector Retrofitted Headlamps
Spendy, but if you want the best you gotta fork over the big bucks...
those are OEM HID projectors retrofitted into clear one piece ram headlight housings. properly attached and aimed. and the projectors are specifically designed for HID light. they are NOT designed for halogen bulbs. they will properly aim and focus HID light output on the road better than ANY cheap aftermarket projector.
They come with the HID kit and the Morimoto H1 projectors pre-installed.
you can do the retrofit yourself but it won't be too much cheaper and you will have to bake the lights in an oven to get the lens off, install and aim the projectors, then bake again to re-attach and reseal the lens.
