I guess since neither MOPAR, nor Cummins knows for sure, I'll ask here. I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500, which I pulled the V-10 out, and I am fixin to put a 2005 Cummins 5.9L in, but I'm not sure which or what motor mounts to purchase. DO I purchase the 2001 Dodge Ram motor mounts or a 2005 Dodge Ram motor mounts? I am thinking that I need to buy a 2001 Dodge Ram motor mounts, since that is what the engine is going into. MOPAR DID tell me that the 2001 motor mounts should fit the 2005 Cummins engine, but I haven't purchase them yet. What do y'all think? Any knowledge out there?

Just an FYI for anyone interested. The engine mounts for an '01 Cummins 5.9L DOES fit both the '05 Cummins 5.9L engine as well as fits the engine into the '01 Dodge Ram 2500. Engine and transmission is installed, and now I am currently putting the truck back together.
