Default vp44 leak help

My truck is a 2001 auto with 270k on it. The vp44 I believe was replaced before I got it at 260k. I have noticed just starting the last few days after I shut off my truck there is a fuel leak coming from around my vp44 somewhere and I can see exactly where. But it's only drops then it will quit and it don't leak when running. Can some one give me an idea on what's going on or what it could be ???? Any help would be awsome !

If you turn the key to run, and just bump the starter and leave the key in the run position, the fuel pump will run for about 25 seconds. This should pressurize the system so you can locate your leak.

So I tried the key bump to pressures the line to find the leak and it's not working. I tried it a few times in a row but no luck. Any ideas ?

IS the pump running, or just no leaks showing?

Every time I bumped the starter the it would run for about 30 seconds or so and I saw no leaks It's almost like ot only leaks when it has a load on it or something then when I shut it off it leaks out till the pressure is released but after the truck is off it leaks till there is about a base ball sized spot of diesel. Then quits. The pump is some what new and the rubber line part is on tight that I can tell. So I'm not sure what is going on

You should be able to see where there is a fluid leak, a trail if you want to say. Might have to remove the TPS to get a better look at it.
