Hello all. I am new to this site, and modified diesel's. I have owned stock diesel trucks ( a 7.3 powerstroke, and an 04 cummins) but this is my first modified diesel. It is the truck listed in my signature. I was wondering if some of you could look what I have done to it and tell me what you think of those upgrades. Like I said I am new to modified diesel's and built this solely on recommendations, and with the help of a local diesel performance shop.

so you did all that but not the exhaust?

 

Every thing looks good in your sig. But I agree with TheBear have you done anything to the exhaust? If I were you I would go to a straight pipe.

What about your trans? Is it stock?

 

more or less..... i know its next on the list. I did have an aftermarket valve body put in it, and the bands adjusted but am saving uo to do a full rebuild asap.

 

I like the truck, I guess if I have any complaints it would be the amount of smoke on light acceleration form a stop. unless you really go super light on the throttle it will put out a good amount of smoke until the turbo spools up a bit. it will also smoke a bit when the torque converter locks up into o.d. unless I let off the throttle a bit as it locks up.
