Default Oil Bath Seals for Dana 80

Ok My rear wheel seals were leaking pretty badly and have been for a while so since my t-case was getting repaired I figured I would fix them.

I pulled the hubs and found the oil seal had worn into the spindle a ways and that the seals themselves were fine. I hate speedy sleeves so that was out of the question for fixing the problem. I went to the bearing and seal distributor here in town and had them cross the seals over to oil bath so the seal would no longer ride on the spindle.

I took black RTV put a light covering over the spindle that was worn to make a gasket so it would no longer leak. Since my T-case is out I have not had a chance to test it but i'm pretty sure it will work since we do this same trick on our car hauler trailer hubs after we had a bearing failure that ate into the spindle and it works great.

But to digress I figured I would share the part number of the seal for anyone that has this problem or wanted to change over to oil bath seals. Timken 370150A

I was going to rain and the wind was blowing so I did not have time to take pictures sorry.
