Why does my 2000 24V Cummins not exhilarate past 30mph???
have you hooked a scanner up to it?. could even be a lift pump not getting adequate pressure. if it was a tension pulley pulley going bad youd probably see more signs, it'd be harder to start, truck would overheat, power steering would slowly go out.
Tensioner pulley won't cause acceleration issues. Think I'd start with fuel pressure, dtc's, get some boost numbers and graph the apps. The tensioner pulley may be loosing a bearing. You might loose engine cooling, ac and charging system but power steering won't be effected
