I could not find anything on here about an he1 I have the serial number and everything I got it for free I didn't know if the he1 was more like a hx40 or if there would be no difference from an hx35 it came off a 6x6 military truck with the big cummins in it I think any help would be great!! Thanks

 

I think you mean h1e.

Short answer: h1c is similar to the hx35, h1e is similar to the hx40. Of course the hx turbos are upgrades from the h1 series.

Long answer: you need to run the numbers on the tag to find out which h1e you have as they came with different sized compressors and different turbine wheels. Some didn't even flow as well as the stock hx35. Holset's website has the PDFs available to the public and a model database that will help you decide if it'll work for your particular application. You just need to do the legwork.
