Nope you don't have to take anything off to get to it. If you follow the return line up from the bell housing as it runs up into the the engine bay you will come to a T fitting. Just keep following the line up and a few inches above that fitting you will feel the banjo bolt in there. It's a hard line that runs up to it.

ill see if i can get to it , its not going to be eazy

Ok i layed across the engine feet to the passenger side and was able to line the wrench up with my right hand on the driver side and work the wrench with my left hand at the rear of the manifold , i took it out the washer didnt look to good that was on the bolt , I think theres another washer between the fuel line and engine but i couldnt tell i felt something for sure ... i took a little screw driver and i couldnt get it off so maybe its just part of the engine , i replaced the gasket on the bolt and put it back in and tightened it , ill wait to see if its leaking untill i go somewhere and come back

It's a buggar alrighty, that's why it's the last Banjo left on my truck. I can get the fitting screwed into it but then I can't get to it well enoughto get the hose fitted over it. If you put the hose on first then you can't turn the fitting in.

Well it was leaking , so i pulled it back apart and changed the inside washer , took it for a drive and something is still leaking WTF !

Next fitting down is to check the T for any lose fittings. Should be able to dry the line off though and then feel it to see how high up the wet area is. Past these two fittings the rest of it is tubing. It may have rotted a hole in it but no pressure to blow it open.

I tightened that the other day , nothing up here is wet at all , where if the fuel coming from thats pouring off the bell housing?

Uncle Bubba 04-17-2008 09:15 PM

Unless it's comin off of the number 6 injector those 2 fittings are it. Other then that it's all hard line up there.

Other then supply lines that is. I don't know where you have them run since your usin aftermarket lines.
