I have an 01 cummins,5 spd. bone stock with 140,000.I would like to get better mileage,a little more hp and torque and better sound without breaking the bank.Thanks in advance for your imput.

upgrade the lift pump to 95-100GPH minimum, put a clutch in it, edge comp, gauges (0-30psi fuel pressure, EGT, 0-60psi boost), rv275 injectors, and a boost elbow.

give you a decent gain in power with some better mileage if you go easy on the throttle after the fun starts to wear off.

 

Don't forget about making it breathe better too. Search for the BHAF ( Big Honk in' Air Filter ) I wish I knew about that before installing a cold air intake on mine.Then for a exhaust also. Go to thoroughbred diesel. Select your truck from the list. Both mine and my dads truck have the diamond eye systems from them very nice and affordable. Mine is a 5" turbo back for around $350 and my dads is a 4" turbo back for around $250. I love the way they sound. Easy install too.

mine had just a muffler delete for quite a while...

didn't end up going with 5" straight pipe till I put twins in it.

 

I put mine on to aggravate my neighbors more. Nothing is a better alarm clock then a Cummins roalling up hill at 3 am. Lol.
