Default gauge differences

I changed my exhaust this weekend from a 4" downpipe to 5" flex and Y pipe to 6" mitre cuts. And installed a 5" turbo back straight pipe system. But I noticed on my way home from work I'm making more boost. About 3 pounds more. Which is making my egts lower then they were at wot. Could changing my exhaust have made this change? I didn't do anything else but this.

Yes, ur exhaust has less back pressure therefore making ur exhaust flow better
