I was wondering what the biggest size injector I could drop in my truck without doing major mods meaning a bigger turbo or an expensive programmer. I just wanna get some more smoke out of my 2001 cummins 2500 24v. Banks High Ram, AFE intake, 4in Turbo Back MBRP 8in exhaust. And when I bought it the guy said it has a crap bulldog on it set on Eco but I don't have the programmer.

If you want more "smoke" go burn a tire in your truck bed.


with a boost elbow, and either a programmer/fueling box that does boost fooling, or buy a boost fooler...

you can run 7x.010's with a stock turbo as long as you don't have wiretap fueling and EGT's will be reasonable.

you absolutely need gauges and an upgraded lift pump though.

150GPH lift pump + 0-30psi fuel pressure gauge, EGT gauge, 0-60psi boost, and trans temp if you have an auto...

you will also need to upgrade the clutch if you have a manual trans, or build/buy a built automatic.

7x.010's are no joke...they will make some serious power and if you upgrade the turbo and add wiretap fueling later on they will support 500hp+ on fuel only.
