Default 2nd Gen Brakes

As I'm sure everyone already knows, the brakes Dodge put on these trucks are a little weak for what they were meant to do IMO. It seems like everytime you change a set of rotors they still don't stop great, or atleast for very long before it has a wobble or pull. I'm wondering if anyone has used EBC Drilled and slotted rotors and pads or any other comparable brand to help stop their rig. Also, if there is a better setup for the rear drums compared to OEM that someone tried and it turned out much better. Any input is appreciated.

Supposedly chevy 1 ton rear wheel cylinders help in the rear but not as much as a disc conversion I'm sure.

I've heard of people swapping their brakes on their 00-02 trucks for brakes for an 03, but not sure if this would work on the front of a 99. I'm sure the EBC brakes would help but still weighing all the options.

Disc brake conversion, drilled and slotted rotors from ebay and it stops a lot better.

I have 4 wheel disc and they were terrible until I got EBC brake pads. Green stuff is the stuff.....

I also got vented & slotted rotors off Ebay and have great brakes now...... when I have to replace calipers I am gonna look into 3rd gen brake swap as I hear they are much better. You need a 17" or bigger wheel to fit over the big calipers/rotors.
