I have a 2000 and it has a code( I cant remember which one, but it aimed at the map sensor) but it ran fine. I let the battery die, and after I charged the battery It will idle fine but as soon as I tap the throttle It revs up and wont start unless I shut it off. I have reset the apps a couple times with no change. Any ideas? I am puzzled because it ran fine before I let the battery die.

 

unhook the battery over night then try again in the morning dont hold me to this but iv seen it work before and it costs you 0 dollars

I was told that the pcm might have lost its memory due to having the battery dead too long. And that it could take between 30-100 miles of driving to restore. Does this sound good to anyone else? And I just rescanned it and came up with p0336 and p0237. does either code sound like maybe the cause or just need to drive it and relearn?
