Default More power

Hello all , Just got a quick question, just recently had to replace my Vp, kinda kicked the savings in the pants a bit. I am looking to gain a little more power, dont really have a ton of cash at the moment. Just wondering what kind of set up you guys would recommend injector wise with an affordable programmer. Looking to do a hx40 swap and headbolts down the road and trans build. Truck is a DD and doesnt see that much towing. Looking for a little more power and smoke but not super high egts. Still running the stock hy 35. Any help would be appreciated!!

After you replaced the vp, did you upgrade the fuel line for it?
I'd recomend getting the larger fuel line to help keep fuel going to the fuel pump before you get a programmer next.

he means the fuel line going from your tank to the lift pump and then lift pump to vp44 injection pump. you should upgrade it to 1/2 inch id hose. and i would also look into a fass or air dog lift pump to push the fuel a lot better if you havent upgraded your stock lift pump already.

I just installed a airdog 150, low fuel pressure light, and a new Vp44. Soon to add a fuel pressure gauge to the set up. Ive been chatting with a couple guys on here, and i think iam going to go with a smarty and a set of 75 or 100 horse injectors. I cant tap my pump or use a stealth plate for a year or it will void my warranty. Thanks for all the help gents!
