hey guys im new to the forums and hope someone can help out. im having some issues with my transmission, but let me narrow this down to let you know where im at. 448xxx mi. unsure if its the original trans. I havnt had any problems until about 3 weeks ago. trans would surge and drop out of overdrive at 50-60.

i scanned the pcm and only found output speed sensor fault. being unsure of the transducer and govenor sensors because of the miles i replaced everything and swapped filter and fluid. (didnt help at all)

I researched here and found that from the apps wire and Alt wire create a lot of voltage interference, As well as some possible fixes. so i ordered the BD-noise isolator. installed it and re-routed the Alt wire and the problem went away, now i have a new problem
its wont shift out of second gear and unless i pound it down and that only works sometimes...

any advice, tips, help is greatly appreciated thankyou!

 

still sounds like the output speed sensor. mine did the same thing and it would only go from 1st to 2nd. I may be wrong but i believe i saw a sensor on the front and back of the trans when i did mine. i replaced the one closest to the transfer case and it solved my problem.

 

had it in the air today, i only have one and i removed it and ohmed it out (reading was good) and checked the connection. (its clean) codes not there anymore either on the computer
