Default Need a answer to p1689 code please

If my truck threw a p1689 and I cleared it should it come back again as I try to start the truck? if it does not come back does that mean ecm and vp are ok?

Could be a bad connection too. Worthwhile to check your grounds for looseness, corrosion, etc...

Check the fuel system relay. swap it with another in the fuse box.

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? If so did your pressure drop rapidly or was it running lower than normal?
