Default How do I know if my trucks a ho

On my build sheet is says cummins "600" does this means mines the HO or no and if not what is the difference??

Are you talking about your 2001? If so, if its a 6 speed its an HO, with 245hp.

Yes I am ok so it's just the 235 then can I make it a HO?

Look at the VIN, in the 8th position there should be a 6 or 7, if 6 then it is a S.O, if 7 then it is a H.O. This is true unless the VP has been replaced then it could be any combination.

It has a 6 I know I have the updated lift pump on it idk bout the vp44

You can also look at the information on the VP to see which one that you have. It will either state 235 hp or 245 hp on the label.

your better off with a so pump just add a set of rv 275 injectors and you will love it. what upgraded lift pump? if it's the in tank one better get that taken out and put on a real pump or your going to be buying a new injection pump

thats not a good thing they don't live very long keep the fuel pressure above 7psi

My build sheet says "5.9L TD HO Eng(ETH)/6Spd M/T NV5600"
