98 Ram 3500 Crank Position Sensor location?

My 98 Ram 3500 24 valve Cummins diesel wont start sometimes, but will other times. Code reading shows bad Crankshaft Position Sensor. Purchased a new sensor but can not find its location to replace. Please help.

On alot of engines it usually is on top of the crank vibration dampner.

I replaced mine, it was a 99. It was behind the starter. I had to remove the starter to get to it.

starter they didnt move it to the crank damper till 02? my toner ring came apart and broke mine it was a big ol mess!
